Description |
Possibly the most colorful patch
of the night sky, this magnificent but very faint nebulosity is the
central part of the much larger Rho Oph complex that includes mag 4.5 Rho
(in the blue emission nebula just off to the left), mag 1.0 Antares and
globular cluster M4, both off to the right (south) of this 110 x 75 arcmin
field of view. |
