Description |
This is a beautiful example of an
area with combination emission/reflection nebulae and is a neighbour to
the famous Lagoon Nebula (M8) and most probably an
extension of it. The prominent red patch left of center is IC 4685.
Above it are left to right: NGC 6559, IC 1275, IC 1274 and IC 4684 |
