Description With reasonable seeing and a large aperture instrument we were able to image Mars at an impressive effective focal length of just over 20 meters while still maintaining 1/33 s shutter speed. Special thanks to Stefan Seip for acquisition tips and to Willy Mahl for the loan of the Baader UV+IR Reject filter.
Exposure AVI-RGB 1/33 s, best 300 frames of  4 AVI files, 60 s each at 10 fps.
Camera Philips Toucam PCVC 740K, Baader UV+IR Reject clear filter
Optics RCOS 14.5" Ritchey-Chrétien native f/9 + projection by Baader FFC to approx. f/55.
Mount Astro-Physics 1200GTO, unguided
Software K3CCD for acquisition, registration and stacking, Adobe Photoshop 6.0 for final processing
