| Description |
This well-condensed globular cluster lies in a fine field and is made up of mostly very faint stars. Dreyer describes it as bright (mag 8.4), large (6.9'), round and very resolvable (in a 12" telescope). Click here or on the image to see NGC 362 in higher resolution. The field of view is 37 x 25 arc minutes. North is towards the upper left (315°). |
