| Description | This galaxy is bright (mag
9) and shows a somewhat disheveled structure with knotty arms.
Its angular extension is also much larger than the published 11 x 6
arcmins: outer sections can be seen to cover the diagonal of this frame.
NGC 3621 lies 20 million light years distant. The field of view is 15 x 10 arcminutes with north towards the upper right. |
