Description |
NGC 3923 is described as
bright (mag 10.5), fairly large (5.9'x3.9'), little extended,
gradually much brighter toward the middle and "resolvable,"
meaning a 12" telescope may show mottling under good conditions.
The image shows an interesting dark area towards the upper right (east) of
the nucleus.
The field of view is 15 x 10 arcminutes with north towards the
lower right.
