Secuencia de 10 imágenes de la estrella doble Sirio tomadas una noche de buena estabilidad atmosférica.
En las imágenes inferiores se ha rotado la cámara 40º para verificar comparativamente que el pequeño punto blanco a la derecha de Sirio es algo real y consistente y no es un artefacto del procesado de la imagen
En las imágenes originales se ha realizado un "antiblooming" y posteriormente un filtro DDP para sacar a la luz a la pequeña Sirio B.
No conozco con precisión la focal empleada, utilizé una Barlow 2X pero la geometría de la cámara CCD puede modificar posteriomente este valor.
This is a 10 images sequence of Sirius taken in a steady night.
The camera in the lower image set has been rotated 40º in order to comparatively show that the small white dot in the right side, very close to Sirius is something real and consistent and not a processing artifact.
The original images have undergone some antiblooming and a DDP filter to help bring out the elusive Sirius B.
I dont know exactly the focal lenght used to take the exposures. I used a 2X Barlow and therefore should be f/20 but the geometry of the CCD camera extends the focus and modifies that value.
