Lentin Observatory
Lentin is a small rural place dedicated to the cattle
breeding.
Its located 100 miles north east of Toulouse in the border of Aveyron
and Tarn department in the south of France, N 44°05'48" E02°24'30",
1500 feet ASL elevation; where we still enjoy dark skies.
The observatory becomes a reality during the 2003 summer, permitting
me to increase significantly my effective time devoted to my hobby.
It's great to look at the sky at the sunset and to decide to roll the
roof off.
My permanent setup allows me to be operational in few minutes and to
give up in the morning effortlessly. The warm room is a must, avoiding
being frosty during the winter cold nights.
This is a rewarding investment!
