Wide Field
Wide-Field images are typically milky way galaxy, or some larger nebulae. Also included here are some constellation portraits. The DSLR is used with a regular camera lens, riding on a tracking platform. Most sub-frames are 60-80 seconds, stacking to be approximately 8-10 minutes exposure. The small pixels of the EOS60D sensor are ideal.
The views are what we would be able to see naked eye, if the human eye was capable of low-light vision.
