| Star Clusters are groups of stars bounded by gravitational forces. It is possible to find two kind of star clusters: globular and open clusters. Globular clusters are a collection of gravity bounded stars that orbits the galaxy core as satellites. They are composed of hundreds of thousands of old stars, being the oldest objects in the Milky way. On the other hand, open clusters are not as impressive as globular ones. They constitute a group of stars that were formed from the same giant cloud and are still gravitationally loosely bound. |
