Pelican Nebula (IC5070)
The Pelican Nebula is an H alpha region located at the constallation of Cygnus (The swan). It is an emision region near the Norteamerica nebula (NGC 7000). The photo was taken by using narrowband filters and combined using the Hubble palette for mapped colors. Lens: C80ED F/stop: 7.5 Exposure: Ha channel has been used as luminance and [SII]Ha[OIII] for mapped colours. 6x15'' (binning 2x2) for SII, 9x10'for Ha (binning 1x1) with 7nm filter, 8x15'for OIII with Baader filters. Mount: Vixen Sphinx Deluxe Camera: Artemis 4021 Guiding: Throught WO 66 f5.9 with Meade DSI and PhD guiding software Location: Talamanca and Turó de l'home, Barcelona Date: November 8th, 9th and 10th 2007.
