I sold my EM200/C9 to buy a dobson Mag1 Portaball 14.5". In fact, I realized I had no more time (and motivation) to do imaging.
So I bought this telescope in Florida, US in second hand. I received it extremely well pack, mint condition.
And to complete it, I bought a Denkmeier standard reflector package with X powerswitch (I recommand it on the denk), a 24mm Panoptics pair and a 12.5" Kasai ortho pair. For the book, I get the night observer's guide. Ready to go !

Astronomy is an hobby since 1989, I
beginning with a little perl 115/900. I quickly decided to build a
Pierre Bourge T200. But like I live now in a
city, I needed a more portable telescope and I bought a Celestron C9 with a Losmandy GM8. The GM8 was a good mount for the price but I wanted a more
stable mount and I recently bought in second hand a Takahashi EM-200. Great
improvement, more stable, lower periodic error, higher load capability. Like many astronomers, I use a vesta pro webcam, very useful for planetary images and now for the deep sky (It's easy to modified a vesta to use it with long pose). No so good than a true CCD camera but a good thing to discovered the deep sky CCD technics.
