Innovations of version 3.5

Possibility of stopping the course of some functions while click on the red button of the tool bar (in particular AVI conversion functions). This possibility covers only part of the function in version 3.5 and will be generalized later.

New possibilities of the adjustment of the white balance during color image processing colors (Visualization menu):

New commands:

DATE2JD: converted a date into Julian day (example: DATE2JD 27.76 08 2001).

JD23DATE: converted Julian day into a date.

DATE: return the current date.

TIME: return the current hour.

WDATE: write the current image date in his image. The same effect is obtained while making: Ctrl+F8. For memory, the combination of Ctrl+F9 keys copies the image.

TRACK: analyze a selected star in a sequence of images and produces files DX.DAT and DY.DAT allowing to observe the drift of a telescope according to time.

CPU: measure the frequency of clock of the CPU. Click here for more details (in french for the moment, sorry).

SCAN: acquisition in scan mode (drift-scan) for Audine camera.

TRAIL: align the points of trail star or a spectrum. Click to see an application here (sorry, in french for the moment).

SCALE2: even function that SCALE but applies to a sequence of images.

COREGISTER2: even function that COREGISTER but applies to a sequence of images.

POWER: rise in the intensity of the pixels of the current image to the power. The value of the power is provided by the user.

CAPTURE: even function that the Oneshot command of Webcam menu , but accessible from the console.

SLANT: rectification of stellar spectra. See here for an application (in english !).

BESTOF2: even function that BESTOF but more particularly useful for objects presenting a high contrast.
