Description de l'observation

• à 80x (sp), facile, étoile de m=10-11; à 145x, petite étoile floue avec compagnon très proche qui allonge la nébulosité; centre stellaire à 290x, étoile faible de m=13 très proche à 5”S; nébulosité allongée E-O.
  found easily at 80x with spectroscope as a “star” of mag10-11; at 145x, small fuzzy star with a fainter companion that can give an elongated appearance when the seeing is bad; stellar nucleus; at 312x, the companion is more apparent at about mag13 and maybe only about 5” to the S.

Description de l'observation

• à 400x & OIII, petite NP circulaire, moyenne à brillante aux bords nets; environ 10” de ø; une étoile de m=13 presque en contact donne une impression d’étoile double à ce couple; UHC=3, OIII=4, Hß=-1. [H=62°]
  at 400x and OIII, small PN, round, quite bright, homogeneous or with slighlty brighter center, with sharp edges; about 10” in diameter (estimated on drawing); a mag13 star is nearly in contact with the nebula on the S border and at low power it can give the impression of observing a double star; UHC has a very good contrast gain, as well as OIII but Hbeta has no effect.
