Description de l'observation

• à 87x & OIII, vue comme une très faible nébuleuse ronde, très large, seulement en VI; ciel très noir; limites assez imprécises; estimé à 4.3’ de ø (258”); étoile de m=10 incluse dans le bord SE. [H=45°]
  at 87x with OIII, very faint nebula, round, only visible with averted vision and good concentration; very large with ill-defined edges; estimated diameter of about 4.3’ (ie 260”); a mag 10 star is against the SE border.

Description de l'observation

• à 145x, NGC 2395 à 32’NO, très grande NP, très faible sans filtre et faible avec; soupçonnée à 45x et 74x sans filtre, vue à 87x, 125x, 145x sans filtre; bien à 45x & UHC, 125x & OIII, et 145x & OIII; forme générale de C ouvert vers le NO dans lequel s’intègrent 2 renforcements avec l’OIII; ø=10’ et l’épaisseur du C atteint 4.4’; un renforcement plus brillant est centré sur une étoile de m=11.5 dans la partie N du C: parallélogramme de 6.2’x2.7’ NO-SE; autre renforcement plus petit dans la partie S du C: 3.1’x1.4’ E-O; quelques étoiles de m=14 parsèment le centre plus faible de cette irrégulière nébuleuse; invisible à 290x & OIII. [H=50°]
  at 145x, found 32’ to the SE of the cluster NGC 2395; very large PN, very faint without filter and only faint with filter; suspected at 45x and 74x without filter, seen at 87-125-145x without filter; well seen at 45x+UHC, 125+OIII and 145x+OIII; global crescent shape opened to the NW, with 2 brighter zones seen with OIII; estimated diameter of the nebula (on drawing) of about 10’ (ie 600”), and the C is 4.4’ (ie 265”) at its thickest parts; a brighter zone is centered on a mag11.5 star in the northern part of the crescent: it is a parallelogram of about 6.2’x2.7’ along a NW-SE axis; another brighter area appears on the southern part of the crescent: about 3.1’x1.4’ on a E-X axis; some stars of mag14 are scattered in the fainter center of the nebula; it is no more visible at 290x+OIII.
