He discovered some nebulae included in the IC2 with the 18-inch refractor at the Cape Observatory ("Monthly Notices") From Kent Wallace (kwwallace@thegrid.net): "Joseph Lunt (1866-1940) was an astronomer at the Royal Observatory at the Cape of Good Hope. He measured radial velocities using a 4 prism spectograph on the 24-inch refractor. This came from "The Analysis of Starlight" by J.B. Hearnshaw.
