You will find in these
pages some historical biographies concerning well known deepsky astronomers
from the past.
Of course, the choices between the astronomers
of the deepsky and others is arbitrary: it is not always easy to decide
whether the interest of the astronomers was deepsky-related or not... In
those days, it was nearly impossible to get involved in Astronomy without
beeing questioned by deep sky objects... Do not hesitate to  get
in touch with me in order to share your toughts on the subject or the
choices made.
For each astronomers, a short comment on their astronomical activities
is presented as well as an image (when possible). If you have access to
biographical facts or portraits and believe they could be of interest for
these pages, I am very much interested, please contact
me.
