Because of it's resembling the North America
continent, NGC7000 is one of the most famous objects in the sky, even if
is very difficult to see with the naked eye (except in those extremely
dark night like that I live in the september '98 at the 2600m of Colle
del Nivolet (AO, Italian Alps)). It's located near Deneb, in the Cygnus
constellation. It's an easy photographical object, but it's very difficult
to capture all the feeble details if you don't go under very dark skies.
This image show also the feeble nebulas around it: the most famous is the
Pelican, at the rigth of North America.
