The Bubble nebula NGC7635 at Thézac (dept. 17, France) on 23/08/2016

Guiding: off-axis guider on C8 telescope at F=2000mm, LodeStar StarLight Xpress
Telescope: C8 at F=2000mm
Mount: SkyWatcher EQ6
Imager: Atik 314L+ at -7.5°C
Moon: 74% visible
Conditions: 21°C, dry air
Exposures: L:20x120s bin1 R:10x120s bin2 G:10x120s bin2 B:10x120s bin2 Ha:10x120s bin1
Offsets: 15x0.001s in bin1 and 15x0.001s in bin2
Darks: 11x120s in bin1, 11x120s in bin2
flats: L:15x0.057s R:15x0.83s G:15x0.049s B:15x0.028s Ha:3x49s
Processing: IRIS then GIMP.
Commentary: good guiding thanks to the off-axis guider. I couldn't use the focal reducer as I couldn't reach the focal point, I need a shorter T ring.

Telescope: Orion 80ED refractor F=600mm
Guiding: C8 at F=4000mm, camera LodeStar, PHDGuiding
Mount: SkyWatcher EQ6
Imager: Atik 314L+ at -13°C
Moon: no moon
Conditions: calm, 20°C
Exposures: L:6x120s R:5x40s G:7x120s B:5x120s Ha:6x120s
Binning: L: bin1, RGB and Ha:bin2
Offsets: 15x0,001s in bin1 and bin2
Darks: 3x120s in bin1 and bin2
flatl:11x0.02s
flatr:11x0.28s
flatg:11x0.02s
flatb:11x0.01s
flath:11x4s
Processing: IRIS then GIMP : levels, adding H-alpha layer with curves to remove saturation in the core of the bubble.
Commentary: Good shot ! The configuration is good for this object.

The Bubble nebula from Chesnoy (45)

Telescope: Orion 80ED refractor F=600mm
Guiding: None
Mount: Celestron CG5
Imager: Atik 314L+ at -12°C
Moon: no moon
Conditions: calm, 12°C
Exposures: L:19x40s R:16x40s G:17x40s B:19x40s Ha:21x40s
Binning: LRGB:bin1 Ha:bin2
Offsets: 15x0,001s
Darks: 3x40s
Flats: 15 per filter
Processing: IRIS then GIMP : tresholds, levels, adding H-alpha layer, removal of saturation of the blue of the stars and of the bubble core.
Commentary: It's better than before, I would nedd to redo it with guiding. I begin to better handle flats.

08/08/2010 at Thézac (dept. 17, France)

Telescope: C8 at F=1260mm
Mount: Orion 80ED refractor + CCD LodeStar StarLight XPress
Imager: Atik 314L+ at 2°C, binning 1x1
Conditions: no moon, no clouds, but quite high humidity. 12°C.
Exposures: L: 5x180s R: 5x180s G: 5x180s B: 5x180s H-Alpha: 6x180s
3 Darks of 180s, 30 offsets, no flat.
IRIS processing: On each layer, removal of offset and dark, registration and addition, then combining colours.
GIMP processing: brightness, contrast, black, adding H-Alpha layer

Commentary: guiding worked fine but I took too long exposure time shots, so stars are too big.
Adding H-alpha layer is interesting, it reveals the clouds.
I didn't cool too much the camera because there not seem to have problem of background noise, and it was humid so I thought it could freeze. However I think it should work, I'll try next time. I didn't make flats because I don't really know yet how to do them.
