This is the best site for me. It is a small village with 350 people living here, located between Saintes and Royan in France.
At night, all lights in the street are off, so the sky is really black.
The nearest cities are Saintes and Saujon, at 10 or 15km away, and they are not too big cities.
The sky is great, and the weather is good. In august 2009
I could do more than 10 nights in a row. I was exhausted...
We can see well M31 with naked eye for example.
