The beautiful IC5146 nebula is nearly 15 light-years wide, is about 4,000 light-years away toward the northern constellation Cygnus and the central star that lights it formed about 100,000 years ago. Inside the Cocoon Nebula is a newly developing cluster of stars. In the field of view, at west from IC5146 dark nebulae LDN1035, 1020, 1040, 1045, 1030, 1031, 1024, 1042 and LDN1010 can be seen.
