NGC1499 nebulosa hidrogeno alfa iragazkiaz

 

 

Kalifornia nebulosa (NGC1499) E.E. Barnard-ek aurkitu zuen lehengo aldiz 1884. urtean eta Perseus konstelazioan gugandik 1000 argi-urtera aurkitzen den nebulosa igorlea da. Bere izena, AEB-ko Kalifornia estatuaren itxura handia duelako datorkio.

The California Nebula (NGC 1499) was discovered by E.E. Barnard in 1884 and is an emission nebula located in the constellation Perseus at 1,000 light years from Earth. Takes its name by its resemblance in shape to the US state of California.
