Cetus, the Sea Monster, was sent by Poseidon to punish Joppa for the behavior of Queen Cassiopeia. It was slained by Perseus defending Andromeda.


Though home of many galaxies, to me Cetus is forever associated with the fine planetary nebula NGC246.
