NGC6934 Globular Cluster in Delphinus

(RA 20h 34.2m , Dec. +7°24', 8.7 mag., 5.9 arcmin.)


This bright globular cluster is easy to find almost 4° South of e Delphini (see finder chart below).

The above image was taken on July 10, 1999 from Sooke, BC using Cookbook 245 LDC CCD camera on Ultima 8 f6.3 telescope. The telescope was autoguided with Cookbook 211 LDC CCD camera on a piggybacked 500mm f8 telephoto lens. The image is composed of white integrations (7 x 240 sec.) processed with AIP4WIN.

North is to the right.
