BRIEF DESCRIPTION
25.9_N_108.5_W
Ridge Section 103 is entitled Parenago, named after the 93 km impact crater. Berkner is just to the east (right) of Parenago with Robertson to the south of Berkner. Parenago and Berkner share a common wall. Robertson also has a wide streak of white ray materials stretching across the crater from the southwest toward the northeast. This bright white ray is visible in both our image and WAC LAC-54. Bell is beyond the eastern limb, therefore it is not visible in our section photo cropped from the LRO image. To the south-southwest lies Comrie (out of frame). Parenago is a worn and eroded crater formation. Attached to the northern outer rim are the satellite craters Parenago W and Parenago Z. Three small craters lie prominently along the edge the inner wall in the southeast quadrant of the interior floor. The floor is otherwise relatively level and is marked by only a few tiny craterlets. (Credit: Some of the information used in the section feature descriptions was obtained from wikipedia.com, but much of the clarification came from Robert Garfinkle. Section 103 and this directory was created by Fran Ridge and Ned Haskin of The Lunascan Project).
