BRIEF DESCRIPTION
A 'continental' area, surrounded by Mare Vaporum, Sinus Medii and Sinus Aestuum. There is a complex system of clefts in the vicinity of the crater Triesnecker. The region contains the landing sites of the probes Surveyor 4 and Surveyor 6.  Refer to your Antonin Rukl lunar atlas chart on page 93.
