Brief

A very interesting feature, of which we have very few good Earth-based telescopic images, is Mons Lahire. This is an isolated mountain massif 10x20 km located NE of the crater Euler and NW of the crater Lambert, both  in Mare Imbrium and Section 20. The Lunar Orbiter images are impressive, but the Apollo 15 image is by far the best image we have of this feature.
