Brief

This is a cropped  ESO image showing the 84-km flooded crater, Mersenius in Section 51, which lies in the  SW corner of the Moon. The image above is similar to another image, one of Macrobius near Mare Crisium, but this time the "sea" at the right is actually Mare Humorum. The Lunar Orbiter image, as usual, has great detail.
