certain number of galaxies scheduled by R.A. celestial coordinates were
selected and their images are available here. Select
the area of interest and click on names to see them!
They were acquired from the home-observatory
of the author at Castelmartini, municipality of Larciano - Pistoia - ITALY.
The site is located near Florence, 35m over the sea level, in a suburban
environment.
The image database was conceived
for SN-search reference and consequently particular attention was devoted
to prevent saturation while aesthetic criteria were only marginally considered.
The images represent a good example
of what can be obtained by an amateur under similar conditions. |
