This is my first CCD camera, the popular "do it yourself" CB245, based on the Texas Instruments frame-transfer TC425 chip, and developped by Richard Berry, John Munger and Veikko Kanto.
It can be operated in two different binning modes, 278x242 pixels or 252x242, with a total capture area of 6.4X4.8 mm. It has a 12 bits analog to digital converter which produces 4096 levels on the gray scale.
After several years it is still working perfectly, despite TC245 production have finished . |
