Light Pollution is a serious problem to the astronomers, mainly the amateurs. However, in the last years much was done to eliminate their effects. In one side several associations around the world began to alert the authorities of their countries, to illuminate their cities, highways and monuments with rationality, to avoid the enormous waste of energetic resources. There are several examples of success, in the design innovation of candles and spots for the public illumination. At the same time the optical industry has developed several kinds of interferencial filters to block the light emission sources of the visible spectrum.
