Takahashi TOA serie

 

TOAs are the news triplets from Takahashi. It gives extremely high order of color correction, absolutely color free images. Today (October 2005), two TOA are availables, the 130 (since 2003) and the new 150. The 110 and 180 will be avalaible soon.

TOA 130 (2003)

The triplet TOA-130, is the first of the new Ortho-Apochromat Series. This instrument is equiped with the classic 2.7” focuser (Toa 130s version). For those wanting to use a medium format camera, the refractor can be equiped with deluxe 4” focuser with built–in camera angle adjuster (Toa 130f version). This focuser, coupled with the dedicated flattener, will produce a fully illuminated 70mm circle with a usable 92mm diameter.
