Un amas globulaire extrêmement pauvre en éléments lourds a été caractérisé dans la galaxie d’Andromède. RBC EXT8 apparaît beaucoup trop pauvre en « métaux » pour la masse qu’il arbore, de quoi retravailler la théorie de la formation de ces très vieux groupes denses d’étoiles. Une étude parue dans Science.
