Le FRB de notre galaxie se répète (lui aussi) !

Il y a à peine trois semaines, je vous relatais la mise en évidence du premier FRB (Fast Radio Burst) provenant de notre galaxie, issu d'un magnétar nommé SGR 1935+2154. Et bien il n'aura pas fallu très longtemps pour détecter deux autres bouffées rapides d'ondes radio venant de ce magnétar. FRB 200428 se répète donc, comme un grand nombre d'autres FRB, et avec une énergie dissipée qui paraît très variable. Une étude parue dans Nature Astronomy.
