Guilherme de Almeida 7 Posted September 22, 2007 Mais oui.Malheureusement c'est vrai. Thomas Michael Back (TMB), 1957-2007) n'est plus entre ses admirateurs... Mais on ne l'oubliera jamais.J'ai parlé avec lui quelques fois par courrier eléctronique. C'était une personne brillante, très simpatique et un génie de la conception optique.On ne l'oubliera jamais. Il a rempli le vide entre les prix très elevés et l'enorme temps de attente/production des Astrophysics, permettant à des miliers d'amateurs d'acheter par un prix raisonable (pour la grande qualité de ses instruments) une lunette Apo de grand niveau. Chaque fois que je regarde mon TMB 115 f/7, je me rappellerai de lui.1. Voici un post:"On September 13th Thomas Back passed away after a long bout of illness. I have no further information about this at this time. Our prayers are with his family in their time of sorrow.Michael Bieler"2. "I am the brother of Thomas Back (1957-2007), and I am very sorry to have to inform the group that Thomas passed away last Thursday, the 13th.
