Ici a La Reunion , la tôle galvanisée est le matériel d usage pour les constructions extérieures , il résiste aux intempéries , n est pas chère et ne subit pas les attaques des termites au contraire du bois .
Donc l option abri roulant a été choisi , il est aubanne lors de menace cyclonique .
Here in Reunion Island , the galvanized iron is the usual equipment for the constructions outside , it holds out bad weather and termites ( on the contrary of wood ) and it's cheap , moreover it is cheap .
Then , the option of a rolling shelter has been chosen , it is trimed with cables in the case of a threat of hurricane .

Telescope/Telescope
LX200 12" f/d = 2.7 Focale 823mm avec réducteur de focale MEADE 0.33 le tirage est réglé pour obtenir un rapport f/d donnant un champ conséquent mais optimise avec la qualité d image ; on peut noter que les étoiles situées sur les bords des images sont atteintes de coma mais rien de bien méchant . Ce rapport f/d donne un champ de 30' x 20' .
Le pole sud n étant pas visible de mon site , 20° de hauteur ! , la mise en station a été effectuée par la méthode de Bigourdan . La monture ne permettant pas de descendre en-dessous de 25° , il a fallu ruser en inclinant le pied oriente sud pour gagner ces quelques degrés . L équilibrage n a pas été facile a réaliser , le porte a faux étant assez important ; la monture suit correctement 120s sans autoguidage .
LX200 12" f/d 2.7 focale 823mm with focal reducer MEADE 0.33 the projection distance is ajusted to get a ratio f/d which applies an important field but in connection with the quality of image , we can notice that the stars on the edge of the images have coma but nothing bad . This ratio f/d gives a field of 30'X20' .
As the sounthern pole is not visible from my site , 20° of height ! , setting up and adjusting the mount by Bigourdan 's method . As the mounting did not allow me to go below 25° , I had to slope the foot of tripod facing south to get some degrees . The balance was not easy to effect , the overhang is very important . the mounting drives correctly 120s without autoguided .

Une alimentation externe de 12V 3A sert a alimenter la camera . Celle ci est fixée a la sortie du réducteur . Le système de refroidissement est classique , il est juste limite , pendant l été austral la température minimum régulée dans la camera est de -13°C et ceci avec une température extérieure de 23°C , l avantage du double étage Peltier .
An outer feeding with 12V 3A supplies the camera . This one is fixed at the exit of the reducer . The cooling system is standart , it is limited , during the southern summer the minimum temperature is 13° below zero with a outside temperature of 23° above zero , the advantage of double stage peltier .

Le site est équipe d un Pentium II 350Mhz 196M° de ram et 6 G° de disque dure , le portable est un Toshiba Pentium III 550Mhz 64M° de ram et 6 G° de disque dure .
The site is equiped with Pentium II 350 Mhz 196M° ram and 6G° hard disk , the laptop is Toshiba Pentium III 550Mhz 64M° ram and 6G° hard disk .
AudeLA est le logiciel libre qui permet une acquisition automatique on le lance en début de nuit et il s arrête tout seul au petit matin , le nombre d images faite en une nuit est de 360 , voir la page recherche .
Pour l acquisition manuelle , la vérification des suspects et le traitement d images PRISM est l outil le plus puissant actuellement sur le marche des logiciels astronomiques . IL gère a la fois la camera et le télescope , son couplage avec le LX200 est un vrai régal . J utilise aussi GUIDE7 excellent logiciel de cartographie céleste , ces infos sur les objets , le suivi des astéroïdes ( ligne de variations ) et des comètes sont ces grandes qualités .
La mise a l heure des pc se fait par internet via le logiciel TARDIS .
AudeLA is a freeware which allows the automation of the search , I start it up at the beginning of the night and it stops itself early in the morning , the number of images made per night is about 360 , see page search .
For the standart acquisition , the checking of suspetcs and the processing of images PRISM is the tool the most power on astronomical software market . It manages at the same time camera and telescope , its linking with LX200 is a real pleasure .I use as well GUIDE7 , excellent software of celestial cartography , it has great qualities about objects , the following of asteroids ( line of variation ) and comets .
To put the clock on the pc , I use internet via TARDIS software .

Télescope + camera / Telescope and Camera
Il comprend une monture TAKAHASHI EM200USD avec pied colonne sur laquelle est installe un télescope de 200mm a f/d 4 type Newton associe a une camera Audine munie d un capteur Kaf1600 . Le champ obtenu est de 1° X 40' .
It joins a mounting EM200USD with a column foot on which is set a telescope 8" f/d 4 Newton with a camera Audine supplied wth a chip Kaf1600 . The field obtained is 1° X 40' .
De même pour ce télescope la mise en station a été faite par Bigourdan , le viseur polaire ne pouvant pas servir a grand chose le pole n étant pas visible ,
Tout ceci est relie a un ordinateur portable dans lequel on trouve les logiciels cites ci dessus avec en plus AudeLA et PISCO .
For this telescope as well the , the setting up and the adjusting was made by bigourdan , indeed the polar sighting tube is useless because the pole is not visible .
All that is connected to a laptop where there are the softwares above-mentioned with AudeLA and PISCO as well .
