RHO Ophiuchi

Field centered on R.A. 16h 30' & Dec. -25° 30'

One of the most colored areas in the skies. It is very large so a mosaic of four images were arranged to cover it. In this image are visible the globular clusters M4 and NGC6144, Nebulas IC6404, IC6403, IC6405, IC6406 among some dark nebulas. Unfortunately one of the frames used for this mosaic was severely damaged because of some light entered somehow into the camera body during the exposure. I had to spend a lot of time in PS to recover the whole image. Here is the before and after frames comparison.
