+ From April to June 1981: DEA training at Laboratoire de Minéralogie et des Roches Profondes (Mineralogy and Deep Rocks Laboratory) of Museum of Natural History, Paris. A report on the study of ultraheavy cosmic radiation with the assistance of its impacts on the meteoritic crystals has been realized at this occasion.
+ From September 1981 to May 1983: Third cycle doctorate (PhD) at Bureau International de l'Heure (BIH) of Paris Observatory on the study of length of the day irregularities with an atmospherical origin. A thesis report has been made for the thesis talk which has occurred on May 10, 1983.
+ March 1982, August 1982, May 1984, June 1984, January 1988: Five spectroscopic missions, using the French Haute Provence Observatory 1.52-m telescope. Observation of some B stars with emission lines and fast evolution.
+ From May 1983 to January 1985, from January to April 1988: Mission preparation, observation and data analysis at Paris Institute of Astrophysics of the total solar eclipses of June 1983 in Indonesia, of November 1984 in New Caledonia and of March 1988 in Indonesia.
+ From July 1985 to May 1986: Participation to the international campaign on the Halley comet (International Halley Watch) during its 1985-1986 return by doing three spectroscopic or photographic missions (Haute Provence Observatory, France, December 1985; Tamanrasset, Algeria, March 1986; Nouméa, New Caledonia, April 1986).
+ September 1986, December 1986, February 1987, May 1987: Four missions at Pic du Midi Observatory using the 20-cm coronagraph for the study of the solar corona. A video observation of prominences in the infrared line of neutral helium at 1083 nm was made at this occasion.
+ From October 1986 to March 1988: Searcher under a contract between Paris Institute of Astrophysics and the Thomson-CSF group. Two studies, on the caracteristics of atmospherical transmittance and sky radiance in the UV range, on the background sky radiance in the UV, visible and IR ranges and on the light emission of meteors and re-entry satellites, also in the UV, visible and IR ranges, were realized at Paris Institute of Astrophysics.
+ Summer 1987: Three months of training at Sacramento Peak Observatory, New Mexico, U.S.A. An analysis of some coronal structures observed during total solar eclipses was made during this training in a great American observatory.
+ August 1988: One month of training at Sacramento Peak Observatory, on the same subject.
+ From September 1988 to December 1996: Member of the French Society of Astronomy and Astrophysics.
+ From October 1988 to November 1989: Post-doctorate assistant at Astronomy Institute of Lausanne University, Switzerland. A synthesis work in stellar photometry, on the creation and update of photometric data catalogues, was made under a collaboration with Centre de Données Stellaires (CDS = Stellar Data Center) of Strasbourg Observatory, France.
+ From January 1989 to October 1998: Numerous photometric missions (observations under Geneva photometry UBVB1B2V1G and under Strömgren photometry uvby Hbeta) either at Jungfraujoch Observatory, Switzerland (twenty missions), or at ESO (European Southern Observatory) La Silla Observatory, Chile (eleven missions). During the year 1991, some mutual phenomena of the Galilean satellites of Jupiter were observed at Jungfraujoch Observatory, as part of a collaboration with Institute of Celestial Mechanics, Paris.
+ From December 1989 to May 1992: Post-doctorate assistant at Geneva Observatory (Geneva University), Switzerland. A work on the realization of a photometric catalogue of stars in UV range using the data obtained during a balloon flight was made at this occasion.

+ Since October 1990: External collaborator researcher at Paris Institute of Astrophysics, France, as part of a scientific program in stellar physics.

+ From July 1995 to December 2005: Participation to a long term program of photometric observations of some beta Pictoris-like stars (stars with edge-on dust disks), in collaboration with A. Vidal-Madjar, A. Lecavelier & R. Ferlet, Paris Institute of Astrophysics, and with J. V. Clausen & E. Olsen, Copenhagen Observatory. Observations are done using Strömgren uvby photometry at La Silla Observatory, Chile (ESO).
+ August 1998, July 1999, July-August 2000, July 2001, October 2001, July 2002: Six observation and data acquisition missions (CCD imaging) using the Marly telescope at La Silla Observatory, Chile (ESO) in the framework of the EROS II project team (Expérience de Recherche d'Objets Sombres).
+ From December 2001 to November 2005: Senior post-doc scientist on the behalf of the Astrophysics Research Group, Antwerp University, Belgium, under a four years duration contract. Research subject: "A Hipparcos based study of the binary population in nearby OB associations". Study of all kinds of duplicity and multiplicity (spectroscopic binaries, eclipse binaries, visual binaries) in the Sco-Cen Complex, composed by three nearby Southern OB associations, Lower Centaurus Crux, Upper Centaurus Lupus and Upper Scorpius.
+ From December 2001 to November 2007: Member of the Belgium National ESO Committee (BNEC), as the representative of Antwerp University.
+ July 2002: High resolution spectroscopic observations of the star HD 123335 using the FEROS fibre-fed echelle spectrograph then available on the 1.52-m Telescope, at La Silla Observatory, Chile (ESO). At this time, this star was known to be an eclipse binary, as well as a double-lined spectroscopic binary (SB2), without any known period.
+ June 2003, April-May 2004, June-July 2004, May 2006, May 2008: Five missions of high resolution spectroscopic observations of stars having confirmed or suspected Sco-Cen Complex membership, using the GIRAFFE fibre-fed echelle spectrograph available on the 1.9-m Telescope at Sutherland Observatory, South Africa (Cape Town Observatory, SAAO), in the framework of the research of yet unknown spectroscopic binaries through the Sco-Cen Complex.
+ July 2003: One mission of high resolution spectroscopic observations of stars having confirmed or suspected Sco-Cen Complex membership, using the HERCULES fibre-fed echelle spectrograph available on the 1.0-m Telescope at Mount John Observatory, New Zealand (University of Canterbury, Christchurch), in the framework of the research of yet unknown spectroscopic binaries through the Sco-Cen Complex.
+ March 2004, May 2005: Two missions of high resolution spectroscopic observations of stars having confirmed or suspected Sco-Cen Complex membership, using the FEROS fibre-fed echelle spectrograph available on the 2.2-m Telescope at La Silla Observatory, Chile (ESO), in the framework of the research of yet unknown spectroscopic binaries through the Sco-Cen Complex.

+ During 1984: A study of the modelization of the solar courona had been made with the computers VAX 780/VMS of Paris Institute of Astrophysics and Paris Observatory.
+ July and August 1984, from January to July 1985, October 1986: File processing at the Bureau International de l'Heure. A file transfer had been made from the computer CIRCE to the Paris Observatory one. In parallel, the PASCAL and BASIC languages had been learnt for a special work on Apple III computer.
+ From October 1986 to March 1988: Intensive utilization of the VAX 780/VMS computer of Paris Institute of Astrophysics, as part of the IAP/Thomson-CSF contract and adaptation for VAX/VMS of the LOWTRAN VI atmospheric modelization software created by U.S. Air Force.
