Non c'est pas moi qui ai remporté ces coupoles. Etat lamentable, ne vaut meme pas le carburant pour aller les chercher.

je profite de si post pour poser un bet question : pensez vous vous que les convertisseur USB rj45 ou wifi , tel que ceux qui sont utilisé pour les imprimantes peuvent faire l'affaire pour transformer une webcam usb en camera IP ?

Il faut verifier en fonction du produit

Mais la pluparts des Serveurs d'impression ne gèrent pas les connections USB isochrone (web cam, camera ccd).

Donc je ne pense pas que ca soit un bonne idée !

Mais il faut tester.

Super sa fonctionne.La PL1-M detecter direct.Sa venai bien du firmware.

Je laisse tourner pour voir la stabilitée.

Donc sur le silex la PL1-M + atik 16-hr + eq-mod

Sur le belkin un convertisseur USB/VGA + calvier + souris

Le tout sur un routeur wi-fi 54 m/bits ( oui je s'ai c'est un peu faible IoI ) .

J'ai fait un mail à silex europe, ils m'ont répondu qu'ils allaient corriger le bug. Il va donc y avoir la version 2.1.6 mais il faudra le tester.

sorry for english. This is my first message on this forum, so get my gratings of gorgeous nights with astronomy.

I am not sure to have comprehended your tests on the wireless server you have shown in this thread, since I thought the WTS of Meade was specifically designed for astronomy and have features no other server has.

You are saying I can use every one server between these shown here. If this is correct I'ld like to know if I can use one Access Point with an ethernet to usb adapter, near to the telescope and wifi connected to a router near to the remote PC.

yes you can. (like Obama)

But you must use a 108Mbps wireless router, if not, with cameras QHY5 type, it crashes regularly.

All tests i did with 54Mbps wireless crashes after 5 minutes.

Be carefull, Silex has just released a new USB server GIGA the SX3000G.

With Meade WPS, Silex 2000SX or 2000WG, you can have a maximum of 100Mbps for all USB peripherys.

With the Silex SX3000G you have 2 X 400Mbps. But Wireless will be not suitable (maxi 300Mps). You need to put an ethernet wire cat 6.

I started my observatory with Wifi, but after few uses, i put all with wired connections 100Mbps.

Now i will put all in 1000Mbps with industrial switch (-40°C +80°C).

With wireless 54mbps (like Silex 2000WG or Meade WTS) in reality you are maximum at 35 Mbps.

It's works but to download a picture CR2 of the canon 350D, you need 10s and sometime you loose one picture. that why i developp my software to download & take picture http://www.felopaul.com/Felopaul.msi

if you have on the same USB hub the PL1 camera and Focuser like me, it's more than 15 secondes.

With Silex 2000SX wired at 100mbps you take 6/8 secondes. You loose sometime some picture but not like at 54mbps.

With Silex 3000GB vired at 1000mbps it's like if you connect all in your computer , 4 secondes and you loose no picture !

One nother think.

If you use SBIG camera, the USB connection is at USB1.0 so 10 mbps maximum
So a Silex 2000SX is good or SilexWG/Meade WTS too.
But the price of the Silex 3000GB is llower that the 2000SX.
If you want to stay wireless it's perfect with SilexWG/Meade WTS.

Yes it's good !

With all tests i do, Meade WTS is the same as Silex 2000WG
the price (3X) have no justification !!!
you have two solutions but the S2 (for me) is the best.
but if you choose S1 the main is to take a router wireless 108 Mbps near your computer if you want no problem, i can not explain why, it's the tests who say this.
