RASC Deep-Sky Challenge Objects
This observing list was compiled by Alan Dyer and Alister Ling and is published in RASC Observer's Handbook. In recent years NGC2419 globular was replaced with Jones 1 planetary, but for me 46 objects are better than 45 - so both are included below. While Abell2065 is the most challenging visually among them, it is tiny planetaries which are especially tough for a CCD camera. Abell1 2 is the most difficult one among them thanks to a glare of m Orionis ;-)
